KNOWN ISSUE - WINDOWS COMPUTERS
A corrupted software security update from Crowdstrike which is one of our cyber security protections across the DU campus, affected a majority of our Windows computers.
This was not a targeted attack but a global impact to those running the Crowdstrike software and received the corrupted update on their Windows machines.
This is causing a major outage across our campus and globally. While we have a procedural fix, it may require someone from our customer services team to physically work on your machine.
If you have a computer that is no longer booting or showing a blue screen, please bring it to the IT Help Center in the Anderson Academic Commons as soon as possible for assistance.
